The intricately interlaced and sophisticated systems of our great modern civilization require a certain degree of compatibility and cooperation in order for them to function. Just consider what might happen on a four-lane freeway if even one person ignored the “rules of the road” and didn’t let those little bumps glued on top of the painted lines stop them from steering their vehicle into a lane of oncoming traffic. We tend to take our participation in these systems for granted and overlook the mountain of trust that we’ve collectively placed in them.

Have you ever been in a relationship with a dishonest lover who was cheating on you? If so, chances are that when you finally confronted them (after months, or years in some cases, of a nagging suspicion and circumstantial evidence), they acted incredulously. They accused you of being crazy. They might have called you stupid and belittled you, even mocking you, for suggesting the Truth was anything other than what they’ve told you. They may have insisted that you didn’t hear what you heard, you didn’t see what you saw, and then punished you by acting like you don’t exist until you can learn to accept their “gaslight” reality as the whole truth.

Someone once said that the road to destruction is broad and well-traveled, and I’m pretty sure that’s the same road often called “Primrose Lane” which is known to be paved with good intentions. So, while all roads may still lead to Rome, I’ve come to believe this particular road starts in Geneva, Switzerland at the gates of the World Economic Forum. I suppose it’s not impossible that someone might get the warm and fuzzies every time they hear Klaus Schwab wistfully fantasizing about his “Great Reset” plan to depopulate most of the planet and enslave whoever is left in a technocratic AI hivemind nightmare, but let me assure you that there is nothing warm or fuzzy about this cold-blooded and venomous venerable villain.
